136th Temple Anniversary & Maha Samprokshanam Celebrations - Sri Sri Sri Maha Ganapathi - Kamakshi - Ekambareswara Temple

Divine Invitation

With the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Mahaganapathi Swamy and Sri Kamakshi Sameta Sri Ekambreswara Swamy, the Temple Committee of Sri Kamakshi Sameta Sri Ekambreswara Swamy Temple,Bondada Veedhi, Vizianagaram District, warmly invites all devotees to participate in the sacred celebrations marking the temple’s 136th anniversary and the completion of its restoration works.

For over a century, this temple has been a spiritual center for devotees, preserving traditions, faith, and cultural heritage. Following extensive renovation and restoration efforts carried out over the past several years, special Vedic rituals and consecration ceremonies will be conducted to invoke divine blessings for the welfare, prosperity, and peace of all devotees.

 

Highlights of the Celebrations

Event Schedule

5:00 AM – Veda Parayana & Panchamruta Abhishekam

  • Recitation of the sacred Vedas.
  • Panchamruta and aromatic substance Abhishekam to the main deity (Mula Virat) of Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru.
  • Alankaram (decoration) with traditional garments and ornaments.

7:00 AM – Ganapati Puja & Kalasha Sthapana

  • Ganapati Puja
  • Punyahavachanam (purification ceremony)
  • Rakshabandhanam
  • Akhanda Deeparadhana
  • Pradhana Kalasha Sthapana
  • Mantapa Aradhana
  • Special Archana

10:00 AM – Sri Ekamreshwara Swamy Abhishekam

  • Ekavara Abhishekam to Sri Ekamreshwara Swamy.
  • Decoration of the deity following the Abhishekam.

10:30 AM – Sri Chakra Sahasranama Kumkumarchana

  • Sri Chakra Sahasranama Kumkumarchana for Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru.
  • Performed with the participation of Suvasinis (married women).

11:00 AM – Homa & Poornahuti

  • Sacred Homa performed by the Pooja Dampatis.
  • Poornahuti marking the successful completion of the Homa.

12:00 PM – Avabhritha Snanam & Poorna Kumbhabhishekam

  • Ceremonial concluding purification bath.
  • Grand Poorna Kumbhabhishekam with sanctified Kalasha waters.

4:00 PM – Sayam Upasanam

  • Traditional evening worship and prayers.

5:00 PM – Sri Kamakshi Sametha Sri Ekamreshwara Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam

  • Divine celestial wedding ceremony of Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru and Sri Ekamreshwara Swamy.
  • Conducted for universal peace, prosperity, and well-being.

7:30 PM – Pancha Harati & Prasada Distribution

  • Pancha Harati to Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru.
  • Mantrapushpam.
  • Distribution of Teertham and Prasadam to devotees.

Significance of the Event

The temple has successfully completed 136 years of spiritual service, and after comprehensive restoration works, these sacred ceremonies are being performed according to Agama and Vedic traditions. Participating in these rituals is believed to bring divine blessings, prosperity, good health, and spiritual well-being to devotees and their families.
